A quick selfie unlocks 18+ events, alcoholic concessions, and Mega Dating. Done in 30 seconds, never asked for again.
How it works
Most age-restricted experiences let you in after a single selfie capture. We only ask for ID upload if our automated check can't decide.
Open the app, hit "Verify". Camera prompts you for one well-lit selfie. The frame is on-device — no recording.
Our verification provider returns an age range and a liveness check (real human, not a photo of a photo). Most users are cleared in under 5 seconds.
If the estimate is too close to 18 or the liveness check is borderline, we ask for a government ID photo as a fallback. Reviewed by a human within 24 hours.
When you'll be asked
We don't gate the whole platform. Browsing events, buying general-admission tickets, and using the app's social features stay open without verification.
Beer, wine, and spirits flagged by the organizer in the venue menu. Your profile must be verified 21+ (US) before alcoholic items appear available.
Organizers can flag an event as "18+ only" or "21+ only" — checkout requires a verified profile in that age range.
Dating is restricted to verified 18+ profiles. This protects both you and the people you might match with.
If our fraud system flags an account (chargebacks, multi-account purchases, etc.), we may require re-verification before unblocking.
Privacy & trust
The verification result is stored. The selfie itself is processed by our provider and discarded after verification. We never use it for marketing or facial-recognition databases.
Most users never upload a government ID. When required, the document is encrypted at rest, reviewed once, and purged after the legal retention window.
Photos of photos, screenshots, and pre-recorded videos are rejected. The system requires a live human in front of the camera.
A face hash prevents the same person from running multiple verified accounts to bypass age gates or game social features.
You can request your verification record via the privacy policy. Deleting your account also purges the verification artifact.
If automated checks flag you incorrectly, a human reviews the appeal within 24 hours. We default to letting real people through.

To our verification provider for processing. The selfie itself is discarded after the result is returned; we store only the verification status (verified / not verified / age range). It is never shared with organizers, advertisers, or third parties.
