How it works

Drop the lineup. Drop the link. Run the gate.

No procurement loop. No three-month onboarding. Set up the entire ticket inventory in one afternoon and announce when ready.

Setup time: 9 min 40 s for the core event · add-ons under 2 min each
02

Announce the lineup

Drop your link on social. Embed checkout on your festival site. The link is yours — no platform discovery wall, no curation gatekeeping, no shared audience.

Checkout conversion: 73% mobile · 81% desktop · 2025 benchmark
03

Run the gate

QR scan at GA gates, RFID wristband sync for multi-day, hybrid scan for camping check-in. Money lands in Stripe Connect at the moment of sale — pay vendors and crew immediately.

Payout: instant via Stripe Connect, scaled for 6-figure-per-day volume
Festivals running on MTU

Bigger festivals. Bigger savings. Same gate.

Three festivals. Three different formats. Three numbers that mattered to the budget.

$63K saved · 10k weekend passes

"We modeled the fee on a 10,000-ticket weekend pass run. MTU put $63,000 back into production. We added a second stage with that money. Done."

8,247 RFID syncs · 0 gate fails

"We hybrid-scanned QR at the gate, then handed out RFID wristbands for camping and bar top-up. MTU's API talked to our wristband vendor with no engineering loop. Sold."

$2.4M processed · paid vendors same day

"Three days of revenue hitting Stripe in real time. We paid food trucks, the AV team, and the cleaning crew before the festival was even over. That changes how you produce."

Producer FAQ

Questions every festival director asks.

Operational answers. No marketing fluff.

Can MTU handle 10,000+ ticket volume?

Yes. Built on Stripe Connect infrastructure that handles six-figure-per-second transaction volume globally. MTU's own checkout has zero capacity ceiling per event.

Does it integrate with RFID wristbands?

Yes. Hybrid scan model: attendee buys a QR ticket, exchanges it for an RFID wristband at festival pickup. Our API exposes ticket-to-wristband mapping for vendors like Intellitix, Token, ID&C.

Can we sell camping spots, glamping tents, and parking?

Yes. Each is its own inventory item with per-spot capacity, photos, descriptions, and dependencies (e.g. requires weekend pass to add camping). All on one checkout.

What about scaled refunds if the festival is canceled?

Bulk refund from your dashboard in two clicks. Refunds flow from your Stripe Connect balance — same operational mechanic as any merchant. Partial refunds and prorated logic supported.

Volume tier discounts?

Yes. Standard fee is 2% + $0.99. At 5,000+ tickets per event, custom volume tiers available. Founders program for the first 1,000 events this month locks 1.5% + $0.99 for 12 months.

International ticket sales?

Native multi-currency: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, MXN, BRL, JPY. Stripe Connect covers 46 countries for organizer payout. The same checkout serves global fans.

Can we sell merch and food vouchers on the same checkout?

Yes. Add-on items, food and beverage credit (synced to RFID), merchandise bundles. One cart, one checkout, one payment to your Stripe.

Is it secure at festival-scale revenue?

Processed on Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1) and Square infrastructure. Combined network handles over $1 trillion/year. MTU never stores card data. Fraud screening built-in.

The festival sells the festival.

Build the inventory in one afternoon. Announce the lineup when you're ready. Watch tickets and revenue hit your Stripe at the moment of sale.
